What’s it like to work with us? We believe that the energy of our culture and well-being of our team drives the passion behind our work. So, here is how we foster our culture and well-being at Infinity:
- We are committed to our local community: Our Community Action Team supports our culture of Citizen-Ownership by providing a voluntary forum for COs to engage in community related philanthropic events.
- We make professional development a priority: Infinity is focused on helping Citizen Owners get ahead. As the Chinese proverb states: “Learning is like rowing upstream, not to advance is to drop back.”
- We ensure our office is a great place to work: The office itself was designed to help you work, there are spaces for heads down focus, areas for collaboration, and areas to work while being with your fellow citizen owners. Gatherings, whether it be at our weekly catered lunches, happy hour socials, potluck Fridays or an offsite are complete with laughter, brainstorming, debating, storytelling…oh and did we mention all the great food?
- We invest in our company culture: Social and team-building events are planned throughout the year.
Infinity has undergone significant changes over the past 10 years that I have worked here. What remains the same is the sense of community and our commitment to each other. I continue to be inspired by my colleagues and motivated by making an impact to patients’ lives. Infinity’s unique culture has enabled us to remain focused on our goals and stay connected during these unprecedented times.
I have been involved in running clinical trials for many years and while the process by which we operate remains similar, the difference in the day to day comes down to the people. Infinity is a culture of people who are truly passionate about making a difference in the lives of those who have been touched by cancer. In striving to make great strides, Infinity dreams big and believes anything is possible. Working as a collaborative team, where all voices are recognized, sets Infinity apart. The dedication and tenacity of this team allows us to accomplish great things with small numbers. It is a culture that inspires the best to do our part in the fight against cancer and I am proud to be a part of it.
Over the past 9 years of being part of the Infinity family, we have been through many ups and downs. No matter what, my Infinity colleagues always seem to be there when I need them most. They keep me grounded and challenged every day. If someone is having a particularly rough day, we have a mantra that we use to remind us why we do what we do – patients are waiting.
I joined Infinity to be part of a community that values and fosters open communication, a dedication to science, and a commitment to making a difference for patients. The promise delivered and in addition, I also have gained friends that I respect and trust and genuinely enjoy spending time with. As a small group, I love the opportunity to wear “many hats” all of the time and grow together with my peers.
