In parallel with the development of the Infinity's lead anti-chaperone therapy targeting heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90), IPI-504 (retaspimycin hydrochloride), Infinity is developming IPI-493, an oral anti-chaperone agent. In preclinical models, IPI-493 has demonstrated significant oral bioavailability, as well as potent and selective inhibition of Hsp90.

Infinity is evaluating IPI-493 in a multi-center Phase 1 clinical trial in patients with advanced solid tumors. Additional information regarding Infinity's clinical trial is in the clinical trials section of the website.

IPI-493 and IPI-504 are being jointly developed by AstraZeneca/ MedImmune.
